DistractedWe switch tasks every three minutes at work, all while juggling multiple streams of information. The boundaries between home and office have gone the way of the rotary telephone. Instant is the new normal, and multitasking second-nature.

But the costs are mounting. Once interrupted, it takes up to 25 minutes to recover a cognitive thread. By one estimate, we spend just five percent of our workdays thinking and reflecting, less than half the time of four years ago.

How can we tap the power of a high-tech, high-speed world, while rekindling our ability for deep focus? What are the new rules for success in an always-on, hyper-distracted era?

Join award-winning author Maggie Jackson as she shares provocative findings from her acclaimed book Distracted on the simple steps we can take to harness our most important human faculty.  Learn the latest findings from the exciting new field of attention science, the surprising roots of today's distraction - and how technology affects our cognitive health.

Look ahead to a focused future.
