Recent Reports
A new
whitepaper available from FlexPaths presents the findings of virtual think
tanks held in December 2010 exploring the business benefits of flexibility.
A 2010
report from the Center for Work Life Policy finds that the long-term penalty
for women taking time out from their career has worsened since the recession. “Since the recession, the study found,
timeouts from a career for childcare or other reasons have become increasingly
unaffordable” and notes “69 percent of participants in the survey said they
wouldn’t have left if their companies had offered one or more specific
work-life balance options, such as reduced-hour schedules, job sharing,
part-time tracks, short unpaid sabbaticals, and flextime.
