A Forté School MBA alumna will describe her MBA journey. She’ll tell you what led her to the decision to get an MBA, describe her MBA application process, her time at school, and of course how she has been using her MBA in her career. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
We all have a brand. It is our operative reputation today; we must manage it with rigor, strategy, and discipline or it will manage us. Strong brands, for products and people, have key components in common (quality, trust, integrity, differentiated and relevant value, continuous innovation). The same lessons used in developing a strong brand for a product or service can be applied to develop your own value proposition, present you in a way that differentiates you from others and creates a strong and vibrant impression. “Managing Your Personal Brand” introduces participants to a unique, proprietary and market-driven approach to personal brand development.
Time to meet with your peer group! Your peer group will be an important support through this 10 month program and beyond. During lunch you’ll want to learn as much about each other as possible—and make some decisions about the schedule and location of your monthly peer group meetings.
Seasoned MBA Admissions professionals will discuss admissions requirements, researching schools, the application process, and financing your MBA.
We know the start of the MBA journey is daunting, so this is YOUR time to address the questions that are keeping you up at night. What has you worried? What has you excited? Are you confused about something? Topic experts will host table discussions including: MBALaunch program Q&A, part-time versus full-time, financing the MBA, non-traditional applicants, the role of the test in the application, post-MBA careers, and an open forum table. You are welcome to move around.
