Forté Foundation hosts events to help women develop awareness about the value and flexibility of business careers. Through these educational and networking events, Forté Foundation encourages women of all ages to pursue positions of leadership in business. Forté Foundation events and seminars include:
Career Lab for Undergraduates
Spring 2010
The Forté Career Lab Events provide college-aged women with information about business options available to them once they graduate, including seeking a career in business and a graduate business education. Diverse and successful women leaders discuss their paths, and provide insight on how the MBA has played a key role in their lives. Women seeking undergraduate degrees in all areas of study are invited to participate. The Forté Career Lab Events are held on sponsor school campuses around the country each semester.

Corporate Best Practices Summit

Open to Forté Sponsors, Forté’s annual Summit is an exclusive gathering of business leaders to exchange ideas, learn about new research, and report progress on their efforts to recruit and retain top female talent. This year’s summit will examine how women express their leadership potential and capacity in their own way. How do women leaders fare during times of uncertainty—do they have to play the game to win or seek another path to get their desired outcome? What are companies doing to develop and retain women leaders?

Forté MBA Women's Conference
June 18-19, 2010
The Forté MBA Women’s Conference is an event for Forté Fellows and MBA women attending Forté sponsor schools. The MBA Women’s Conference examines the hot issues around women in business leadership. Business leaders will provide insights, teach skills and share experiences through a variety of interactive sessions intended to help students orchestrate a successful career.

Forté MBA Career Forum

The Forté MBA Career Forum is an event for women attending Forté sponsor schools, MBA women participating in the Forté Financial Services FAST Track Conference, and Forté Fellows. The career forum offers women the ability to network with some of the most prestigious corporations in finance, consulting, consumer products, high tech and healthcare. It also offers the opportunity to talk one-on-one with recruiters from a wide range of industries about their employment opportunities and company culture, and share your professional interests and goals.

Forté Financial Services FAST Track Conference
June 24-25, 2010
The Forté Financial Services FAST Track Conference is an event for MBA women attending Forté sponsor schools in the 2010 class who are interested in a career in financial services. Sponsored by a select group of Forté companies, this multi-day conference will explore a cross-functional view of experiences and opportunities available to MBA women in the financial services industry. *All attendees are required to apply in order to attend.

Forté Forum: The MBA Value Proposition
September - October 2010
The Forté Forum events are an opportunity to educate potential MBA students about business careers and opportunities in MBA education. Women leaders from businesses and schools around the country share their experiences and insight in an informal setting. Topics presented at the Forté Forums include: how to finance an MBA, how to achieve work/life/balance, and how to successfully apply to an MBA program.
