Get a jump start and build a winning MBA application
with Forté's MBALaunch for Women.

The Forté MBALaunch for Women is a hands-on 10-month program for women intending to pursue an MBA degree. Forté MBALaunch for Women provides guidance, resources and ongoing feedback on the application process including a one-day launch event, monthly webinars, peer group meetings, and one-on-one feedback from an experienced advisor.

The Forté MBALaunch for Women will give you a clear road map to help you navigate the MBA application process. Our line-up of speakers, workshops, resources, and advisors will help you “get it done” but also inspire you along the way so that you feel good about your future and how the MBA will support your personal and professional goals. Our intention is to make you the best MBA candidate possible.

Program Overview

  Attend a one-day, kick-off event featuring intensive workshops with experienced speakers

  Match up with an experienced advisor throughout the course of the program

  Participate in monthly webinars on specific topics geared at building a top-notch application

  Attend monthly Peer group meetings in Chicago, New York City and Washington, D.C.

The Forté MBALaunch for Women is designed for women interested in applying to an MBA Program in Fall 2013, for enrollment in Fall 2014.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  Achievement: To be considered, applicants must have solid academic standing and a bachelor's degree. Those with a strong undergraduate record are encouraged to apply.

  Work Experience: Applicants with at least one year post-undergrad work experience are preferred.

  Commitment: Applicants must be willing to commit significant time and energy throughout the 10-month program, including attendance to live events, webinars, group meetings, advisor meetings, and individual work and research.

  Location: Forté MBALaunch for Women is open to candidates who are located in/near Chicago, New York City and Washington, D.C. where the in-person portions of the program will be delivered each month. (This is a pilot program. We hope to expand the number of locations next year. If you are not in the Chicago, New York City or Washington, D.C. area, then you are not eligible to apply this year. Please check back with us next fall.)

SELECTION PROCESS
Due to limited resources and the demanding requirements of our program, admission to the Forté MBALaunch for Women is selective. The selection committee will review applications and may follow up with a telephone call if there are outstanding questions.

STEP ONE: Fill out the application form and provide $25.00 non-refundable application fee.  Please email launch@fortefoundation.org to gain access to the application form for Chicago and D.C. MBALaunch

STEP TWO: Submit your answers to the essay questions and your current, professional resume to launch@fortefoundation.org. Please contact us to receive directions on the essay questions, launch@fortefoundation.org.

PROGRAM FEE   
For the first year, Forté MBALaunch for Women will be offered at a half-off introductory fee of $250 (the regular program fee is $500).  The Forté MBALaunch for Women is a resource intensive program and is supported by Forté Foundation Sponsors and Partners.  Additional, individual coaching services may be available for a separate fee.
