 MBALAUNCH COHORT PROGRAM FEATURES

Forté MBALaunch is a comprehensive eight-month program designed to help you submit your best MBA application to business schools. Whether you are a first generation student, have already attempted the application process, or are surrounded by people with MBAs in your network, the program is committed to you and your unique b-school selection process.

No matter the MBA program format you’re interested in, you can expect us to hold you accountable. We will help you build your network with Forté Fellows and admissions committee members at our partner business schools while serving as your support system throughout the process and beyond.

Application Prep

Build your best application with eight months of guidance and support. We will cover everything from writing your essays and updating your resume, to interviewing techniques, to power networking.

  • Self Discovery
Understand the unique characteristics that will make you a valuable asset to MBA programs through our personal branding workshop at the MBALaunch Symposium. As you continue the exploration process, you’ll clarify your career goals and get excited about your MBA journey.

  • Application Strategies
Through our weekly programming, you’ll develop and share your personal story, practice your interviewing skills, network with confidence, and learn how to write a business school resume that stands out.

  • Career Visioning
Hear from MBA alumni about how earning this degree helped shape the trajectory of their careers. With their insights, you’ll understand how an MBA can be a valuable asset in any industry.

  • Personal & Professional Development
Share your MBA journey with other talented women who are on a similar path, and learn how to identify specific business schools that align with your core values.

Community Building & Advising

During the MBALaunch program, you’ll have opportunities to connect with a variety of advisors — admissions experts, business school reps, MBA alumni, and current Forté Fellows and MBA students. This approach provides diverse perspectives and detailed advice about the application process.

  • Peer Groups
Participants will be matched with a peer group, likely by time zone. Throughout the MBALaunch experience, your peer group will provide encouragement, support, and networking opportunities. You will meet monthly for the duration of the program.

  • Office Hours with Experts & Admissions Staff
Office Hour appointments are 15-minute conversations by phone or video in which subject-matter experts offer advice and answer questions on MBA admissions topics. Topics can include admissions, career services, financing an MBA, choosing the right school or program format, etc.

  • Connections With Current MBA Students & Alumni
Participants will be introduced to MBA women from Forté partner schools. These women will be a resource for you to learn about student life, campus culture, program requirements, and more.

  • Virtual Roundtable Series
Connect with participants outside of your immediate peer group and program advisors during our roundtables. Roundtable discussions may cover researching schools, exploring specific industries, or making the most of an interview.

  • Ask Me Anythings
Participate in online Ask Me Anythings (AMAs) with admissions experts, current MBA students, and MBA program alumni covering different application topics.
