Executive MBA and Professional MBA
Education for life.
We now know that life-time learning is a thing. Gone are the days when what you learned in college, or even graduate school, could serve you well over the entire course of your career. And long gone are the days when you joined a company and stayed there until retirement.
To compete and succeed in today's frenetic and globally connected marketplace requires agility and relentless vigilance—with a steady eye trained on the future. Whether you're looking at an Executive MBA or Professional MBA degree as the next step in your professional education that keeps your career moving forward, or you're ready for a quick, skill-building shot in the arm, Fort?'s business school partners can deliver the goods.
Fort? partners offer options to help you get the education and connections you need to stay out front. Executive MBA programs are designed to leverage your experience and propel executives and mid-career professionals to the next level. You can also earn a career-boosting MBA in an evening, part-time, weekend format. And if you already have an EMBA/MBA, you can polish or expand your knowledge, skills and network in a non-degree executive education program lasting a few days or weeks.

The Wisconsin School of Business supports and advances women in business and is committed to closing the gender gap in the corporate world. The percentage of women on our faculty and in our MBA programs has steadily climbed. Learn alongside other women and thrive in an environment that prepares you to carry values of collaboration over competition into the workplace. In the Wisconsin MBA programs, you are empowered and equipped to lead in your career and community. We take specific steps to ensure that our educational and cocurricular programming reflects the presence of women in business. We bring inspiring female leaders to campus to speak as part of the M. Keith Weikel Executive Leadership Speaker Series.
Affordability through financial aid
At Wisconsin, we recruit talented women who contribute to a vibrant, inclusive MBA community. All women admitted to the program are considered for the Women in Business Award of Excellence, which is given to women who have demonstrated leadership and a commitment to helping other women advance in business and the community. In addition, all completed applications are considered for merit scholarships and many employers offer tuition reimbursement.

Our diversity program includes scheduled guest speakers and inhouse panelists who address meaningful diversity topics at events for students, faculty, and staff. During the first year of the program, all Executive MBA students share a core curriculum that equips you with a strong foundation on which to build higher level skills that give you an executive edge.
In the second year, you’ll go beyond business theory to immerse yourself in the kinds of high-level work that business leaders take on. Working with the same cross-functional C-Team that was part of your experience in the first year, you’ll gain the skills required to launch a new business, and develop integrated growth strategies for existing ones.
Global Immersion Track:
During the second year of the Global Immersion Track of the Vanderbilt Executive MBA program, you’ll become part of an international cohort of approximately 60 working professionals—up to 15 students from each of the four prestigious business schools in the Americas Alliance who in conjunction offer the Americas MBA for Executives.
In year 2, you’ll be part of a traveling classroom with residencies in Brazil, Canada, Mexico, and the United States. You will become part of a new cross-cultural team with representatives from each of our partner schools.
The curriculum is unique to each country. You’ll learn from the exceptional faculty of our partner schools who know these countries best. A member of the Vanderbilt faculty will oversee your international capstone strategy project, in which you will work with a multinational company to help solve specific business challenges in the Americas.
Throughout the immersion experiences, you’ll learn firsthand the culture, business practices, consumer perceptions, and behaviors of these four nations and economies. Studying among peers from these countries will afford you the insight and experience that will be invaluable throughout your career.
