  • What is the registration process for the Forté National Campus to Business Leadership Conference?
    Students interested in attending the conference will need to complete a registration form, which will collect profile and academic information. The final section of our registration will require you to upload a resume to the Forté Job Center. Forté reserves the right to revoke registration at any time for any reason.

  • How much does it cost to attend the Forté National Campus to Business Leadership Conference?
    Thanks to the generous support of our partners, the conference is completely free to attend!

  • Is there a registration limit for the Forté National Campus to Business Leadership Conference?
    Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrants may be placed on a waitlist. Students will be admitted from the waitlist based on registrant cancellations up to approximately one week before the event. Changes in registration status will be communicated by email — please keep an eye on your inbox!

  • What if I don’t know my schedule for the conference dates yet or my schedule changes?
    We know that life is busy and that your schedule is fluid. We encourage you to register now to reserve your seat. You'll have up to two weeks before the event to let us know if your schedule has changed. There will be a waitlist for the Forté National Campus to Business Leadership Conference and, as a result, we would like to offer someone your seat if you are no longer able to attend.

  • What happens if I have class or a commitment that overlaps with the conference? Can I attend just part of the event?
    We encourage you to attend the whole conference, if possible. However, you can jump in and out of the event if you have a conflict. We would recommend prioritizing programming where you have the opportunity to connect with Forté school and corporate partners. This conference is a great opportunity to make connections and prepare for a successful entry into a business career.

  • Will the conference count as an excused absence for my class?
    It is up to your professor to determine whether or not this conference will count an excused absence. Just like our in-person events, these conferences are amazing professional development opportunities and this is the perfect time to invest in yourself! If you ask your professor for an excused absence, let us know. We would be happy to provide a note to confirm your participation, if needed.

  • What happens if I need to cancel my registration?
    Please cancel your registration by Feb. 18, 2022, so we can open your spot to another undergraduate woman on the waitlist. You can cancel your registration here.

  • What happens after I’m registered?
    You will continue to receive communication from Forté after registering for the Forté National Campus to Business Leadership Conference. Do not opt-out of Forté emails or you may miss valuable event information.

  • Can I register for more than one Forté College Conference in an academic year?
    Yes, you may register for and attend more than one Forté College Conference during the 2021-22 academic year.

  • What should I wear?
    Business casual attire is appropriate for the Forté National Campus to Business Leadership Conference. You should be comfortable sitting and being on video throughout the day. Here are some great tips to help you stand out. Please reach out to the Forté Undergraduate Programs Team at college@fortefoundation.org should you have any questions about attire.

  • What items should I bring to the conference?
    Make sure you have a strong internet connection on your laptop, computer, or tablet so that you can connect to the conference sessions. We recommend having a notebook and paper nearby as well. Be well-rested and ready for a great day.

  • How can I connect with business leaders at the conference?
    You will have many opportunities to engage with business professionals and recruiters throughout the Forté National Campus to Business Leadership Conference. The Career Expo and Conference Networking, in particular, are great opportunities to connect with organizations that support Forté’s mission of #MoreWomenLeading.

  • How can I provide feedback to Forté about my experience at the conference?
    Forté will send you an online survey following the event. We welcome and appreciate your thoughts as we continually work to improve the student conference experience. You are also welcome to reach out to the Forté Undergraduate Programs Team at any time by emailing college@fortefoundation.org.

  • How can I connect with other conference attendees?
    Forté will share a link to a private online messaging board after you register. This messaging board is a place to connect with other students about tips for the event, converse about companies you’re excited to connect with, exchange LinkedIn information, and get more conference details.

  • How can I connect with business professionals and recruiters from the conference?
    Ask the professionals at the conference for their contact information. You can also connect with them on LinkedIn after the event.
