We are delighted to welcome Sloan 2018 alumni, Andrea Engel to share her experience. Andrea is a German Senior Legal Counsel for International Trade and Global Supply Chain law with almost 20 years' experience in metals and mining as well as industrial machinery manufacturing. Besides Sloan MSc, she holds an LL.M in International Business law and a Certificate in New Energy law. Andrea used to work with top executives, commercial teams, and operations to manage the commercial and operational legal risks, supports operations to be in line with international guidelines and regulations, and has a demonstrated track record of acting as a bridge between legal and operations to foster alignment and ensure clear communication, using excellent negotiation skills to circumvent legal and financial costs. After her year at LBS she decided not only to change industry but also country and went back to Germany after 15 years being abroad and working in a smaller company. Register
