MBAs On Campus

Forté provides MBA students with the tools they need to prepare for fulfilling, significant careers in business. We are here to support you as you amplify the voices of others and engage classmates in the mission of Forté.

Forté Brand Ambassadors serve as campus champions of Forté by communicating important information about Forté programs and events to students in our MBA member school programs. Ambassadors also serve as a liaison between Forté and each program’s Graduate Women in Business and Allies for Gender Equity student organizations. Any current or incoming MBA student from a Forté MBA Member School may sign up to become an MBA Brand Ambassador. Holding this position is a great way to hone servant leadership skills, network with MBAs at other Forté Member Schools, and model the mission of Forté.

Interested in becoming a Forté MBA Ambassador? Email Toni Phelan, MBA Program Manager.

Resources for MBA Brand Ambassadors

AMBASSADOR OVERVIEW

As a Forté MBA Brand Ambassador, you represent not only the organization, but also our member schools, corporate members, and community of 125,000+ members. Please keep our mission and values in mind as you promote Forté on your campus.

We highly encourage you to use the following materials and resources as you promote the Forté brand, programming, and events. Please see our MBA Brand Ambassador Academic Year Calendar (coming soon) for a breakdown of your monthly responsibilities throughout the academic year.

Be sure to check the Forté website and your email on a regular basis for the most up-to-date event and programming information.

Don’t forget to update your LinkedIn page to share your Ambassador status. (Instructions for updating LinkedIn)

Liaise with Mission-Aligned Student Organizations

As a Forté MBA Brand Ambassador, it’s important to collaborate with student leaders from mission-aligned student organizations — like Graduate Women in Business and Allies for Gender Equity — at your business school. Please ensure that these groups have up-to-date information regarding Forté benefits and upcoming leadership conferences. A few actions to consider:

  • Connect directly. Reach out to mission-aligned student organizations to see how you may be able to best share information with their membership base.
  • Facilitate an Introduction. Connect the President (or Co-Presidents) and Vice President with Forté staff via email. Doing so will help mission-aligned student leaders and members receive up-to-date information directly from Forté.
  • Present to Members. Share information about Forté with the student organization’s executive board or at a general membership meeting. Encourage members to join Forté if they have not already.

Plan and Facilitate Summer Meet-Ups

Forté Summer Meet-Ups provide an opportunity to engage with the Forté community close to home. As a Forté MBA Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a casual networking event. The purpose of this event is to allow for current Forté MBA Launchers (people preparing to apply to MBA Programs), current MBA students at Forté partner schools, and Forté alumni currently living in your area to network and connect. Forté Staff will work with you to promote the event and share registration information at regular intervals. Our team will also provide you with a host kit, and support you throughout the planning process to ensure your event is a success.
