Women Lead Webinar Series

Inclusivity and diversity are often used as one interchangeable concept. While they are related, we should separate them. Diversity is fundamentally about getting enough variety into the team and company. Inclusivity, however, is about creating a culture where the diverse perspective is heard, valued and acted on. Thus, creating an inclusive culture is the ultimate prize for any team and any company.

Working with people who are different from you isn’t so easy – whether that difference is based on gender, race, age, experience or style. What can you do to build an inclusive culture whether you are the team leader or a team member?

Facilitator Dr. Wanda Wallace, a leadership expert and executive coach, will provide an overview of the latest research on inclusivity including:

  • What happens in inclusive cultures and why they matter so much
  • What leaders do to create an inclusive culture
  • Your role in creating the culture you want
